MANAGER OF STAFFING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT

Responsibilities include

• Helping us operate a comprehensive Hiring, Orientation, and Training System.
• Working with our department heads to be sure we have enough of the right people.
• Conducting candidate testing and the initial interviews.
• Ensuring that all necessary new employee paperwork is accurately completed.
• Providing guidance regarding compliance with local, state, federal laws concerning hiring.
• Designing and implementing employee retention programs.
• Coordinating and delivering new employee orientation.
• Creating training programs for sales representatives, warehousemen and drivers.
• Managing departmental trainers and training initiatives.
• Coordinating employee recognition programs.

• Excellent written, oral and presentation skill.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to develop adult instructional material.
• Familiarity with employment law is helpful.

• Bachelor's degree in education, adult education or business.
• Have been in a position of authority such as a teacher, supervisor, or military officer.
• Experience and comfort with heavy human interaction.
• Willingness to do some overnight travel.
• Helpful to have worked in a union environment.

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Description: Experienced sales manager for our central Kentucky division; develops and maintains regional sales representatives and achieves sales and gross profit requirements. Responsible for acquiring and developing new accounts and increasing sales volume in established accounts. Manage business relationships with customers. Train and develop sales force in central Kentucky area. Responsible for A/R in area customer base.

Requirements: High School Graduate (College Degree Preferred). Commissioned sales experience (Foodservice). Some foodservice experience as middle or upper management preferred. Excellent Customer Service background a must. Computer literate (MS Office).

SALES REP

Description: Experienced sales rep for our central Kentucky division. Responsibilities include but are not limited too; open and develop new accounts, process customer orders, process ample request and communicate with customers as necessary about customer delivery times. Responsible for the collection and/or issuing credits on customer accounts. Answer customer inquiries relating to product information, pricing, delivery times, inventory on hand and general company information. Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements: High School Graduate (College Degree Preferred). Commissioned sales experience (Foodsevice). Some foodservice excperience as middle or upper management preferred. Excellent Customer Service background a must. Computer literate (MS Office).

Delivery Drivers

Brown Foodservice is now hiring Class "A" Delivery Drivers.
$2000 Signing Bonus

Description: Delivery drivers will unload 500 - 800 cases per day by hand at designated stops. The delivery driver routes are local and you will be able to be home with your family. Brown does offer a sign-on bonus and full benefits for our drivers.

Full-Time nightshift (Order Selectors)

Description: Nightshift selectors make $13+ per/hour. Selectors are required to pick 160 cases per hour to meet cumpany standards. Order Selectors work Sunday - Thursday 7pm - 4am. Brown has a union pension plan, paid holidays, paid personal days and paid vacations. All candidates must have a high school diploma or GED to apply.
